Brown County Sheriff's Office arrests 21 people for string of home burglaries
BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Brown County Sheriff's Office took 21 people into custody following a string of home burglaries over the summer.
The burglaries happened from July 6, 2019 through August 16, 2019 in the Town of Ledgeview.
According to the Sheriff's Office, surveillance cameras captured at least 14 different occasions of subjects entering homes. and removing personal property.
Through numerous tips from the community, the Sheriff's Office says they were able to positively identify all 21 individuals involved. They range in age from 16 to 20. Four of those involved were referred to Juvenile Authorities. The other 17 are facing criminal charges of burglary and criminal trespassing with the Brown County District Attorney's Office.
