Brothers charged in connection with West Glen Avenue homicide

Two brothers have been charged in connection to the July 4 homicide of Mario Dancer at 8147 West Glen Avenue. 
Roderick Leblanc was charged with first degree reckless homicide and his brother, Dumar Leblanc, was charged with battery / threat to a witness. 
A witness told police after the shooting Roderick said, \"Dude thinks I'm a punk. He thought I was playing.\"
Dancer was shot on the left side of his cheek and the bullet exited near his left ear. 
The incident happened outside a house that was throwing a Fourth of July party. Witnesses said Roderick and Dumar were speaking to the victim prior to the incident. When the shooting happened children were watching fireworks and saw the shooting. 
Roderick's mother, allegedly, asked him after the shooting, \"Rod, why'd you have to go and do that?\"
According to the report, Roderick's brother, Dumar told witnesses at the party that they were to tell police it was a drive-by. He allegedly told witnesses, \"You better not tell on my brother or I will kill you.\"
