'British Invasion' coming to Titletown ahead of Paul McCartney concert at Lambeau

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The British Invasion is coming to Wisconsin. 

Green Bay is re-naming City Deck Court "Abbey Road" in honor of Sir Paul McCartney's concert at Lambeau Field. 

Titletown is also preparing for Saturday's concert with a celebration of all things British.

On Friday, June 7, from 4 to 9 p.m. the event will kick off with Drinks with a View: Old Fashioned Fridays on the top of Ariens Hill. Fish and chips and Pimm’s Cup will be available for purchase on the Titletown Plaza. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the Titletown Beer Garden, an interactive photo booth and a performance from BritBeat, a Beatles tribute band, starting at 6 p.m.

The British hype continues at 11:00 a.m. on June 8 with an English tea and light lunch, while learning traditional tea etiquette with the experts from the Brown County Historic Society & Hazelwood Historic House in Rockwood Terrace. For those more interested in the magic of England, Wizard Wand Making will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration for both events is required and space is limited.
