Brewers send struggling Guerra down to AAA, bring Wang up

The Milwaukee Brewers added a left-hander to their pitching squad Sunday when they brought up Wei-Chung Wang from AAA. To make room for Wang, they sent Junior Guerra down to AAA.

Guerra owns a 1-4 record with a 4.96 ERA in 13 games. On Saturday, Guerra struggled through just three innings, walking four Cubs before being pulled.

Wang owns a 5-1 record in the minors this year while pitching for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.

Wang was originally acquired by the Brewers in 2014 as a Rule 5 Draft pick.

Guerra was the Brewers' 2017 opening day starter.

The Brewers (55-51) are 1.5 games out of 1st place in the NL Central. They close out a home series against the Chicago Cubs (55-48) Sunday afternoon.
