MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Brewers have created a lot of excitement, soaring to the top of the Central Division.
They're hitting the road for the next week to face the Reds and the Cubs, but one of the Brewers made a stop in town Thursday before leaving.
Sal Frelick, the gold glove outfielder, spent some of his off day fighting summer hunger in Milwaukee.
Frelick joined Sargento and Hunger Task Force to serve free meals to kids at Merrill Park.
The food was prepared by Centers for Independence, and along with the meals, the Brewers street team was there to play games with the kids, do some face painting, and more.
The kids got a souvenir too -- a free baseball glove to take home.
