MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fans heading to American Family Field this month can expect exclusive giveaways and themed celebrations at upcoming Milwaukee Brewers home games.
Mike Cosentino, the team’s senior vice president of ticket sales and services, joined us on Thursday, Aug. 7 to preview the August promotions.
Giveaways include:
- Saturday, Aug. 9: A Christian Yelich bobblehead will be given to the first 25,000 ticketed fans.
- Sunday, Aug. 10: A Jacob "The Miz" Misiorowski shirt, available in Adult Medium and Adult Extra Large, will be distributed to the first 25,000 ticketed fans. The shirt was designed by Racine artist and UWM alumnus Estevan Longoria of Lost Files Clothing.
- Tuesday, Aug. 12: The Wisconsin Artist Series shirt, designed by Madison illustrator and muralist Emily Balsley, will be available in Adult Medium and Adult Extra Large to the first 10,000 ticketed fans.
- Saturday, Aug. 23: A Bob Uecker-themed golf umbrella will be handed out to the first 25,000 ticketed fans.
- Tuesday, Aug. 26: An additional shirt giveaway has been added, with the Andrew Vaughn shirt available to the first 10,000 fans. It aims to celebrate Vaughn, who has been a major part of the team's surge this season.
Theme and community nights include:
- Friday, Aug. 8: Cerveceros Night will celebrate Hispanic Heritage with live Lucha Libre matches, Brew City Wrestling performances, lowrider displays from the Milwaukee Lowriders Community, live music and a local maker’s market at the J. Leinenkugel’s Barrel Yard.
- Sunday, Aug. 10: Sesame Street Day will feature children’s activities, interactive stations, photo opportunities and arts and crafts provided by Little Village Play Café of Wauwatosa. A Big Bird bobblehead will be available with the purchase of a Theme Night ticket.
- Friday, Aug. 22: Stranger Things Night will offer fans an exclusive upside-down Brewers hat, available with a special Theme Night ticket.
