Brewers lose to Cubs in extras, Keon Broxton out

The Milwaukee Brewers not only lost to the Chicago Cubs 5-4 in extra innings, they lost center fielder Keon Broxton with a fractured right wrist.

Broxton hurt his hand making a catch in the third inning, crashing into the brick wall at Wrigley Field. The injury effectively ends Broxton's season.

While the Brewers were able to hit three home runs during the game, they allowed two runs in the ninth inning to tie the game. In the tenth inning, pinch-hitter Miguel Montero hit a walk-off home run off reliever Blaine Boyer to end the game.

The loss ensures the Brewers (65-82) a losing season for a second consecutive year.

The Cubs celebrated their first division title since 2008 after clinching late Thursday night with St. Louis' loss to San Francisco
