TEMPE, AZ - Cory Spangenburg and Lucas Erceg hit home runs for the Brewers in a losing effort Monday, a 4-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels.
Erceg added an RBI double in the ninth inning, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Angels, who got home runs from Jarrett Parker and Wilfredo Tovar.
The Brewers play their first game at the newly-renovated American Family Fields of Phoenix tomorrow afternoon. The San Diego Padres, with free agent signee Manny Machado, will help the Brewers christen the renovated stadium at 2:05PM Central Time.
