Brewers and Cubs Player Teaming up to Fight Cancer

Two baseball all-stars are putting their major league rivalry aside to fight a disease that has no limits.

Brewers player Jonathan Lucroy and Anthony Rizzo with the Cubs have launched the Cancer Knows No Borders campaign.

The 16-week effort raises money for cancer research and features stories of those in Wisconsin and Illinois battling the disease.

“There's a lot of people in baseball that have had it or knows someone who has had it. so it's easy to me to relate to it. and i'm very happy to be apart of this and lend my support to it," said Jonathan Lucroy, Milwaukee Brewers.

“We try to help individual families going through it because when i was going through the battle I saw my mom, dad and brother and they looked worse than i did and i was sick,” said Anthony Rizzo, Chicago Cubs

Rizzo was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of 18.
