BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Plenty of “board-um” this weekend at Karate America, but it’s all for a good cause. You get to break boards on Saturday at seven statewide locations, including Brookfield. The $10 participating fee goes to helping various Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and hospitals throughout the Badger State.
Last year, the fundraiser collected $20,000. This time around for “Round 2...Knock out The Wishlists” they’re looking to double the amount.
Beside breaking boards, you can actually break bricks if you're an adult. If you want to take part in Saturday's event, you're asked to pre-register. Just click here to do so.
