Braves' star Adcock voted in to Miller Park Walk Of Fame
Longtime Milwaukee Braves first baseman Joe Adcock will be the newest member of the Miller Park Walk of Fame when he's inducted this summer.
Adcock spent ten years with the Milwaukee Braves, hitting 239 home runs and notching several franchise milestones along the way. Adcock picked up the first hit and first run scored in County Stadium history, and he broke up Harvey Haddix's famed 12-inning perfect game with a walk-off double in 1959.
Adcock is also one of a handful of major leaguers to hit four home runs in one game.
Inclusion into the Miller Park Walk of Fame is voted on by media members who cover the Brewers franchise. Adcock reached the needed 65% of ballots for inclusion by just one vote. Milwaukee Braves and Brewers greats are honored in the Walk of Fame.
