Brady Street Festival presenting diverse entertainment lineup this Saturday
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Brady Street Festival, hosted by the Brady Street Business Improvement District, is set for a busy day of music and entertainment on Saturday, July 29.
The festival will stretch from Van Buren to Farwell on Brady Street, packed with local food vendors, retail booths and a diverse music line-up spread across five stages.
Headliners include the Brady Street Babes drag show and singer Klassik, along with a homecoming performance by Milwaukee's own Abby Jeanne. Klassik is taking the Center Stage at 9:30 p.m. while Abby Jeanne will close the festival on the Bud Light East Stage from 10 - 11 p.m.
The festival kicks off at noon, featuring Dog Yoga at the Smirnoff and Bacardi West Stage and musical performances by Peter Thomas and Kids Boogie Down.
The Fun Zone will provide youth-focused craft activities and photo ops with superheroes and princesses until 5 p.m., followed by a performance from the SAINTS dance troupe.
Two indoor stages will also debut this year. The Nashville North Stage will host four acts, including Hannah Simone with Elly Bird, Maddie Jo duo, Wapatui and headliner Joe Wray, between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. The second stage, The Lillipad, will feature performances by Grey Genius, Okay Omen, Emmitt James and headliner Bug Moment.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy performances by a medley of local bands, including Listening Party, Zach Pietrini, Diet Lite, Moonglow, The Erotic Adventures of the Static Chicken, The Steph Lippert Project, Ms. Lotus Fanhk and Sypher Lady X.
Other attractions include the Adventure Rock Wall and the Casablanca Rumble Pro Wrestling ring where CBS 58's own 'Iron Mike' Curkov will be wrestling.
