MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- On Wednesday, June 26, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee got the chance to go behind the scenes at Summerfest.
Young people got a first-hand look at what makes the gig a big success. They learned about the technology and engineering that powers the festival, giving them a glimpse of what a possible career path could look like in STEM fields.
"Access and opportunity is everything in this field," said Rae Nordwood.
All that learning came during a full backstage tour of the US Cellular Connection Stage and American Family Insurance Ampitheater, along with the festival's video room, cell site radios, antennas, and more.
