Milwaukee (CBS 58) -- A long, star-studded, and generous goodbye is planned for a Milwaukee landmark.
The BMO Harris Bradley Center has a number of events planned for its 30th and final season.
The Bradley Center will close next year when the Bucks move into their new arena but it's not going quietly!
The facility shared that Cirque du Soleil will be returning this year, adding to the lineup that already includes Katy Perry, Guns N' Roses, and the Harlem Globetrotters.
The Bradley center also announced a series of public open houses to tour the facility and a season-long fundraising campaign.
The facility opened in 1988 thanks to a gift from Jane Bradley Petit in memory of her father.
The Bradley Center announced a $200,000 fundraising goal this year that will be distributed to 16 Milwaukee charities. One of the charities benefitting from the funds will be the Sojourner Family Peace Center.
"We hear a lot of what's wrong with Milwaukee and Jane, in my opinion, represented everything that is right with Milwaukee. I can't think of a better way to honor her life and what she did for this community," said Carmen Pitre, President of Sojourner.
The fundraising campaign will wrap up with a charity gala on April 11. The first public open house will be on October 7.
