Blue's Egg Shorewood closes their doors

SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Popular breakfast and brunch restaurant Blue's Egg in Shorewood is closing their doors -- for good. 

A post on Facebook Tuesday, April 14, said the company, Black Shoe Hospitality, made the difficult decision to close. But they also said there are plans to open a new restaurant in the future at the same location. 

The new spot, according to the post, will serve dinner and weekend brunch. 

"Thank you to all the team members who have worked at Blue’s Egg in Shorewood for their hard work, energy, and effort, and to the guests who dined here with us," Blue's Egg said on Facebook. 

Blue's Egg Milwaukee is still open at 317 N. 76th Street.
