MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A mobile blood donation station was set up at Milwaukee's Schiltz Park Tuesday afternoon, June 30.
Organizers say there was more than just a nice scenery along the Riverwalk for donors. DJ Shawna with the Bucks, along with Pete's Pops and Pedro's Empanadas helped create a safe environment for those who wanted to make a difference in their community.
The blood drive collected 30 donations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A second mobile blood donation station may be set up at Schiltz Park again, though no date has been set yet.
