MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Black Pride Milwaukee will host its Winter Lights Gala and Awards Show to recognize achievements within Milwaukee’s Black queer community. The event will include an awards ceremony, performances and a silent auction.
The gala will take place Saturday, Feb. 8 at the UWM Wisconsin Room and aims to build connections between communities while raising funds to support Black Pride Milwaukee’s initiatives.
General admission is $125 and includes dinner, two complimentary drinks and access to all event areas. Group table reservations for eight are available for $950.
Black Pride Milwaukee focuses on addressing the marginalization of Black queer individuals through community resources and advocacy. More information is available by visiting BlakePrideMKE.org.
