Stores in southeast Wisconsin are packed with shoppers spending Thanksgiving looking for deals. At the Best Buy on Highway 100 in Wauwatosa, the store was packed with customers from the second the doors opened. The store was at full staff to keep the lines moving. The store will close at 1 am, then reopen at 8 am.
The line at Kohl's store on Highway 100 started building around 2 pm on Thanksgiving with John Beaumont, an ICU nurse, at the head of it.
At 6 pm, the doors opened for what would be around 30 hours of Black Friday shoppers wanting everything from toasters to televisions.
Braving the crowds has certainly become a trend over the years. The National Retail Federation estimates 136-million people will shop over the Thanksgiving holiday.
