Big Turnout for West Bend Police Department $15 Used Bike Sale

From 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday the West Bend Police Department will be selling approximately 60 abandoned and recovered bicycles for just $15.

The sale will take place at the West Bend Police Department, located at 350 Vine St. in West Bend.

As of 8:30 a.m. Saturday, there was a large turnout for the bike sale and bikes are going fast.

Shoppers will enter the police garage on the north side of the building. Parking is available in the City parking lot south of Vine St and in the City Hall parking lot in front of 1115 S. Main Street.

All bicycles will be sold for $15.00. The purchase price includes a City of West Bend Bicycle License which is required for all sales. The license is good for the life of the bike. Bicycles will be sold on a “first come, first serve” basis, and restricted to one bicycle per person.

The bicycles will be sold “AS IS” with “NO WARRANTY”. Bicycle sales are CASH ONLY (no checks or credit cards accepted) and the bicycle must be removed by the purchaser from the Police Department immediately following the sale. All sales are final with a no return policy.

Questions about the bicycle sale should be directed to Lt. Duane Farrand at (262) 335-5012.
