MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Brewers are celebrating one of their top pitchers in franchise history.
Ben Sheets become the 22nd player to be inducted into the Walk of Fame. The Walk of Fame commemorates the greatest names in Brewers history, complete with a granite plate set in the ground at American Family Field.
Sheets says no matter what, he will always be a Brewer at heart.
"You just feel honored to be a part of the Brewers organization and the Milwaukee family. It's been a good marriage for us the 8 years I was here. I still consider myself a Brewer to this day."
Sheets is set to throw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of tonight's game on Saturday, Aug. 26. starting at 6:10 p.m.
