Beer Garden season starts with opening of South Shore Terrace

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Beer garden season is officially underway in Milwaukee.

Winter weather didn't stop people from enjoying a free beer at the South Shore Terrace beer garden on Wednesday.

Guests can enjoy free beer while it lasts, plus appetizers from partners including Clock Shadow Creamery and Purple Door Ice Cream.

New menu items in 2019 include a Charcuterie Board, smoked wings and a new vegan option - the Beyond Bratwurst. New Purple Door ice cream sandwiches include chocolate cookies with mint chip ice cream and snickerdoodle cookies with whiskey ice cream.

The South Shore Terrace beer garden is open Wednesday through Friday 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. and from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, please click here.
