Beaver Moon overnight showed the longest, partial lunar eclipse in 580 years

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --Did you get a chance to see the near-total lunar eclipse overnight? It peaked just after 3 a.m.

It was the longest partial lunar eclipse in 580 years at 3:28:23!
What you're looking at is the moon covered by the shadow of the earth.
