MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A black bear was found in a tree on the Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Fond du Lac Monday morning, causing the course to close the neighboring nine holes.
In a post on the course's Facebook page, the USDA had been in contact, advising that the surrounding area be closed off for safety.
As of 7 p.m., the bear had moved out of the tree and was seen taking a nap in the woods.
The course said that it is expected to move out of the area overnight as told by the wildlife division.
It is also said that the bear is not a danger to people and should be left alone.
