BBB warns online gift card reseller has more than 2,000 complaints

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- It happens all too often -- someone gets you a gift card for Christmas, but you can't use it. 

One way to get your money's worth is to sell it to a reseller, but that could be risky.

A major reseller out of Texas, Cardpool LLC, has an "F" rating from the BBB and more than 2,000 complaints from all 50 states, including 31 from Wisconsinites.

If you want to resell your gift cards, do your research on the company and how it handles refunds. 

Also, use a form of payment that lets you dispute the charges it something goes wrong.
