FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) --This is one weather day not meant to take lightly. From icing this morning in the north to flooding rains toward the south. No one really escaped the wrath of Mother Nature. And with more rain on the way this afternoon, all eyes are on the rising river levels. Many are at or around flood stage, including the Root River in Franklin and the Fox River in New Muenster.
Earlier in the day, I was in Fond du Lac dealing with some moderate freezing rain. In terms of live remotes, this was one of the worst experiences I've had in a while (weather-related of course!) The conditions were horrid with the freezing rain and wind. My umbrella couldn't handle it either.
