Ballot drop-off locations limited

MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- If you voted by mail for the primary election, your options on where to drop ballots off will be limited for April's general election.

Today, the State Elections Commission unanimously voted to withdraw its guidance that allowed people to use ballot drop boxes.

The move was in response to the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruling last week, which said drop boxes cannot be used for the April election. 

Voters are still allowed to mail their ballot or drop it off at their local clerk's office.
