Balloon release and vigil held for Zarion Robinson almost a year after fatal crash

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Nearly a year ago, a crash on Milwaukee's north side took the life of 1-year-old Zarion Robinson.
His loved ones honored him on Thursday, Dec. 28.
"He was a happy kid. What I'm going to miss about him is his laugh, his smile. I gave him the name 'Coco Melon,' he was a joyful baby," said Janet Mayfield, grandmother of Zarion Robinson.
At the site of the crash near 35th and Hope, his family held a small vigil and balloon release this evening for Zarion on what would have been his second birthday.
Milwaukee police say that on Jan. 27, 32-year-old Antwineesha Burse was driving the vehicle while intoxicated. All while Zarion was strapped into the backseat.
Burse remains on the run as of tonight.
