Badly burned dog recovering at MADACC

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A male terrier/chi mix is recovering at MADACC after arriving with terrible burns on his skin and in incredible pain.

The dog arrived last week and was sedated while his wounds were cleaned up to prevent infection and promote healing. 

According to MADACC, the wounds seem to have a grill pattern on them. It is unknown how the dog was injured.

The dog is now 'healing wonderfully' and MADACC says his temperament is improving greatly.

MADACC is currently searching for a foster home for the dog while he continues to heal.
