Badgers prepare for exhibition games in Canada

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin men's hockey team is preparing for a foreign tour to Canada where they will play a pair of exhibitions against British Columbia starting on August 30.

The Badgers welcome back six of their top seven scorers for the upcoming season and a roster packed with local talent.

"We have lots of Wisconsin kids that have been big contributors to our program," Badgers head coach Tony Granato said. "It says a lot about our high school program, it says a lot about the team Wisconsin, about the Capitals, the Admirals and all our programs in state that continue to develop players that are not only college players, but ones that can play at an elite level."
