Badgers late charge comes up short at Indiana

Bronson Koenig and Nigel Hayes scored 15 points each, but Wisconsin's late rally came up short in a 59-58 loss to Indiana Tuesday night in Bloomington.

Trailing by six points with 8:00 to play, the Badgers clawed back into the game, tying it on a pair of Nigel Hayes free throws with less than a minute to play. Yogi Ferrell responded on Indiana's next possession, hitting a jumper to put the Hoosiers ahead to stay.

Hayes hit a desperation heave at the buzzer with the Badgers trailing by four points. The shot went in, but no foul was called, leaving the Badgers on the short end for the second time in three conference games.
