GREEN BAY - Keifer Sykes heaved a potential game-tying three point attempt at the buzzer. The Badgers breathed a sigh of relief as the shot, and UWGB's hopes for an upset, missed the mark.
The Badgers survived a 32 point effort from Sykes, battling back and reclaiming the lead in the final minutes and holding on for a 69-66 win.
Frank Kaminsky scored the go-ahead bucket on his way to a team-high 16 points. Josh Gasser and Sam Dekker scored in double figures.
Wisconsin (3-0) returns to the Kohl Center Tuesday to host North Dakota.
