Badgers fall to 1-4 in Big Ten with loss at Northwestern

Bryant McIntosh scored 28 points for Northwestern as the Wildcats beat Wisconsin 70-65 Tuesday night, dropping the Badgers to 1-4 in conference play.
Nigel Hayes scored 17 for Wisconsin and Ethan Happ added 12, and Zak Showalter hit a pair of three-pointers to give the Badgers second half leads. But a 7-0 Northwestern run over the following three minutes put the Wildcats ahead to stay.
Wisconsin falls to 9-9 with the loss.
