Baby Squirrels!

No - the color on your screen isn't wonky - this infant squirrel really is this yellow! It's the second baby squirrel season in Wisconsin right now, and that means not only Gray Squirrels, but also Fox Squirrels!

Fox Squirrels are significantly larger than Gray Squirrels and actually are the are the largest tree squirrels in North America. They aren't terribly common in Milwaukee County, but can be found throughout most of Wisconsin.

This poor kid had a rough start to his life, but he's in great care now at the Wisconsin Humane Society's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Thanks for your support!
