Auto Show gala benefiting Special Olympics Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Milwaukee Auto Show is giving back to the community once again this year.
Organizers announced all money raised in this year’s gala will go towards Special Olympics Wisconsin.
This is the 14th year a charity will benefit from the gala.
2018 is a big year for the Special Olympics. The organization is celebrating 50 years and this summer are the USA games in Seattle.
“Wisconsin will be sending 54 athletes, some of the money will go towards funding the athletes to attend,” said Kathleen Roach with Special Olympics Wisconsin.
Ten thousand Wisconsin athletes participate in 18 sports by Special Olympics. This year, the auto show is February 24 – March 3 and the gala is February 23.
