Authorities investigating early morning shooting death on north side

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- A 23-year-old woman was killed early Sunday morning in Milwaukee as the result of a physical altercation on the city's north side. The Milwaukee Police report that the woman died of a gunshot wound she received during an altercation with individuals in the are of W Baldwin Street and W Fond du Lac Avenue. The incident happened around 2 AM. The shooting is actively being investigated and the Police are looking for suspects.

The MCMEO was called to the area of N 60 and W Fond du Lac Avenue around 2 AM for a reported shooting of a single individual. No other details of the incident have been release by authorities.
