The Green Bay Packers was organized on August 11, 1919.
According to the Packers’ website, nobody documented the event.
On August 13, 1919, the Press-Gazette announced the Indian Packing Company would sponsor the team and referred to it as the Packers.
The team played at Green Bay East and West High Schools.
