Attempted Child Abduction takes place near Kenosha Elementary School

A 10-year-old girl told Kenosha Police that she was on her way home at about 3:40 PM on Monday from Nash Elementary School when she was approached by a man.
The man was described as being in his 40’s.
He walked toward her as they got closer the man asked her name she told him he then grabbed her hand and started pulling her.
She was able to pull away and run across the street.
The man followed her and she was able to hide behind a fence until the man passed.
There have been no other incidents like this in the area and police will step up patrols. The school and parents were notified of the incident.
The man is described as a light skinned Hispanic male wearing a black hoodie.
