Attempted Armed Robbery Occurs at Jewelry Store

Mequon Police responded to an armed robbery in progress at a jewelry store in the 1400 block of W. Mequon Road on Tuesday.

Mequon Police were assisted by the Ozaukee Sheriff’s Department and the Grafton Police Department.

The store was closed at this time and the two armed and masked suspects were unsuccessful in making entry.

The suspects fled. Mequon Police set up a perimeter, searching the area and parking lots, but were unable to locate the suspects.
