Artificial Islands Placed in Oak Creek Pond

There are floating plants in Oak Creek.

Three artificial islands were put in a pond today.

They are loaded with native wetland plants.

It's believed this will cut down on bacteria like e-coli and help improve water quality as well as provide a thriving habitat for birds and fish.
