Arrest warrant issued for teen in Mount Pleasant homicide investigation
Mount Pleasant Police Department MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) — Authorities have identified a suspect and issued an arrest warrant in connection with a homicide that occurred in Mount Pleasant last month.
According to the Mount Pleasant Police Department, investigators are searching for 17-year-old Ronald R. Franklin of Racine in connection with the June 24 homicide in the 2200 block of Racine Street.

Franklin is described as a Black male standing approximately 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He is wanted on charges of:
- Attempted armed robbery
- Felony murder
Investigators believe Franklin is still in southeastern Wisconsin and are actively working to locate him.
Anyone with information about Franklin's whereabouts is asked to contact the Mount Pleasant Police Department at 262-884-0454. Authorities warn the public not to approach Franklin and instead contact law enforcement immediately.
