Arrest made in connection to shooting at Graceland Cemetery

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine police say two violent offenders were arrested Monday, Nov. 28, one connected to a shooting that occurred during a funeral at Graceland Cemetery. 

Authorities say Cornelius Evans and Cameron Elam were taken into custody. Evans was wanted for his participation in the Graceland Cemetery shooting.

During his arrest, officers made contact with Cameron Elam, who was found to be in possession of a stolen Glock pistol with an automatic switch.

Charges for both have been sent over to the district attorney's office for review.

The June shooting took place during the funeral of Da'Shontay King.

Two women were shot and taken to the hospital for treatment.

In August, Racine police arrested Lamarion Blair and a 16-year-old boy in connection to the shooting. 

Each face multiple counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety-party to a crime.
