Armed robbery suspect arrested near Carroll University in Waukesha
UPDATE, 12:54 p.m. - Waukesha police say a 24-year-old suspect from Manitowoc was located and arrested in the 100 block of Walton Avenue.
WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities are searching for an armed robbery suspect near Carroll University in Waukesha on Tuesday, May 6.
An alert issued said there is a heavy police presence southwest of campus.
The suspect is described by officials as a white male, 6' tall with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and shorts.
Officials say Sentry Drive is on "lock out" while the investigation is ongoing.
There is no entry to the building and those in the building should remain in the building away from doors and windows.
