2022 Arctic Tailgate Party at American Family Field

MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- "Dress warm, that's all you can do," said veteran tailgater Jaycen Bardega. "Bring your shelter, bring some heaters."

Jaycen Bardega has done this before, camped out overnight in the winter to get a jump on Brewers tickets. He's got a grill. He says he sees some of the same people every year for this test of endurance.

Jaycen wants Opening Day tickets, but he's clearly worried about baseball's labor dispute, especially coming after two years of COVID restrictions on the game.

"So I haven't been to Opening Day in two years and now with this lockout it's gonna be three," said Bardega. The way I look at it, it's gonna be super hurtful for baseball if it's gonna be like three years in a row where there ain't some kind of consistency."

Single game tickets for the 2022 Brewer season go on sale starting at 9 a.m. on Feb. 26. If you want to join the party, they'll have live music on the evening of Feb. 25, a trivia contest and free donuts and coffee on the morning of Feb. 26.
