Anonymous threat puts Beloit Memorial High School on soft lockdown

BELOIT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An anonymous threat has put Beloit Memorial High School on a soft lockdown Wednesday, Sept. 8. Police say it is out of abundance of caution while they investigate the threat. 

According to a Facebook post, the Beloit Police Department is collaborating with the School District of Beloit on the incident. 

Parents and guardians, "DO NOT COME" to the high school at this time, the post reads. 

Students will be in their classes until the soft lockdown is lifted.
