Animal lovers filled Brady Street for a pet parade

MILWAUKEE --  Brady Street was taken over by the dogs Sunday afternoon for the Milwaukee Pet Parade.

The parade was led by Milwaukee police horses and the Greater Milwaukee fire and police pipers and drums.

Pets and their owners walked along the street listening to music and participating in contests which included a costume contest, best tail wagging contest, a pet and owner look-a-like contest and a human bark contest.

A pet blessing was also given by Father Tim Kitzke from Three Holy Women Parish.
