Animal Carcass Spillage on I-43 Causing Delays

There were heavy delays Friday afternoon during rush hour near Bayshore Mall due to an accident dealing with animal carcasses.

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department, a call came in at 4:04 PM about a small load spill of animal intestines in lane 2 of I-43 at BayShore.

There was 500 pounds of pig intestines on the truck. The vehicle is a meat truck in Illinois.

Advance Disposal which handles hazardous materials was called to the scene.
