MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, and Steve Carrell are three talented actors and comedians who each found success with long form improv. The same approach performed in a church basement in Milwaukee is helping locals take their comedic talents to new heights.
Ampersand Theater Company originally opened under the name Mojo Dojo in 2015. The troupe specializes in long form improve comedy as well as education, teaching willing participants what’s funny. Now for the first time the group has a permanent home and a new name.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Michael Schlesinger explored the area’s newest comedy club located underneath a church in downtown Milwaukee.
