AJ Bombers celebrates final night open after 16 years in downtown Milwaukee
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- After 16 years of serving burgers, milkshakes, and cheese curds, AJ Bombers is closings its doors.
Thursday, Nov. 20, is the last day for the Water Street restaurant.
The lease is up, and the building may be sold. While this is the last day you can go to the physical location, popular menu items will still be available on food delivery apps.
"It's been an awesome 16 years," said Chris Adams, COO, Benson Restaurants. "We're going to have a ton of people here, a lot of people that worked here in the past and a lot of OGs, our original guests, will be coming in. And, you know, although we're closing, we're also going to open up a ghost kitchen that will be still serving some of our favorites in terms of the AJ Bombers burgers and that sort of thing."
If you want to stop by AJ Bombers one last time, the closing party goes until 8:30 p.m. Thursday night.
