WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- The battle for Wisconsin's 63rd Assembly district is far from over.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos fended off a challenge in this month's Republican primary, defeating Adam Steen by more than 200 votes.
But on Thursday, Steen announced that he plans to take on Vos again, this time in the form of a write-in campaign in the November midterm election.
Former President Donald Trump endorsed Steen in the primary race, citing frustrations with Vos' handling of the Assembly's investigation into the 2020 election.
"I want the people to be able to choose their election representatives," said Steen. "I want them to know the truth about the people that are going to represent them."
No Democrats are running for the seat in November. Vos is running unopposed.
We reached out to the Assembly speaker for comment but have not heard back.
