A wind advisory has been issued for the entire viewing area from Noon until 6 pm Friday. Strong winds will start out of the southwest and then turn northwesterly behind a front.
Winds will gust from 40 to 50 mph during the afternoon. Once the sun goes down, we expect the wind gusts to drop below advisory criteria; however, Friday night will remain breezy.

Behind the front the temperatures will drop into the weekend. Winds will remain up into Saturday morning. As air temperatures drop into the teens, wind chills for Saturday morning will be subzero. Highs on Saturday will only get into the upper 20s!
